Pastor Henderson was born in Galveston, TX to the late Littleton J. and Lois A. Henderson. He holds degrees in Pre-Engineering, Mathematics, as well as certifications in Systems Engineering by EDS, and Expository Preaching by EKBPC. He is currently working on his Advanced Certification with EKBPC.

    Pastor Henderson accepted God’s call to preach and was licensed at the New Faith Church in Houston, TX under the pastorate of the Rev. Dr. T. R. Williams, Sr., on January 17, 1988. He was later ordained in June 1990 and has been preaching now for 37 years.

    He has attended the Ashland Theological Seminary and the Duke Divinity School. Other notables of Pastor Henderson include:​​

    First Lady Shanequia Henderson teaches sixth-grade social studies in the Wake County Public School System for the past 20 years and loves her job. She remains very active in the church participating in Women's Ministry and special programs. She and Pastor Henderson have been married for 34 years and together they have two children, William II who is a musician, music producer, sound engineer, member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, and alum of Elon University, and Maranda who has attended Appalachian State University, and has now started her own business wrapping cars, painting murals, and doing freelance artwork.
